Field Trip Request

Thank you for your interest in bringing your students or group to the California Surf Museum. Please use this online form to get started on booking your field trip. Note that this request does not guarantee the availability of the dates you are selecting. We will respond within two business days after receiving your field trip request to confirm date and time availability.

For any additional information call 760-721-6876 during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm).
No phone field trip requests please.


Group Size

Minimum size group for docent tour: 8. Maximum group size: 40, split into two groups of 20. One chaperone required per 5 students for 4th-6th grade; 1 chaperone required per 10 students for 7th-9th grade; 1 chaperone per group for 10th-12th grade.
Cost: $5/student, $7/chaperone.
Title One school students are free [funded by a grant; free admission is available until allocated funds have been expended].

Requested Field Trip Dates

Please request dates that are at least two weeks in advance and provide three unique dates and times for your field trip. Note that this request does not guarantee the availability of the dates and times you are selecting. We will respond within two business days after receiving your field trip request to confirm date and time availability. Field trips are only offered during the Museum's normal hours of operation when docents are available: Tuesday through Saturday, 10am to 4pm.
The field trip can last up to 45 minutes.
