The California Surf Museum serves as an international repository and resource center on the lifestyle sport of surfing by capturing, preserving, and chronicling its art, culture and heritage for the education and enjoyment of current and future generations.

It is time for our 17th Annual Gala Fundraiser honoring this year’s CSM Silver Surfer honorees!
The 17th Annual Gala will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 2-8 pm at the oceanfront Seabird Ocean Resort & Spa, 101 Mission Ave, Oceanside, California. Overlooking there Oceanside Pier and the Pacific Ocean.
A dual exhibition at the California Surf Museum and Oceanside Museum of Art, Surf Art: Exploring California’s Coastal Culture
These exhibits explore the deep-rooted influence of surfing on the artists and the artwork inspired by the vibrant beach lifestyle. feature a variety of media, from traditional art making methods to works in resin, murals, surfboards, graphic art, sculpture, or fabric, all with the goal to convey the creative power that all artists experience, on or off the wave.
